Jerry Seinfeld Australian Tour 2017

Jerry Seinfeld Australian Tour 2017

Comedy icon Jerry Seinfeld will tour Australia for the first time in nearly 20 years, performing in five cities next year, including Adelaide.

Best known for revolutionising television comedy with his eponymous show about nothing (created with Larry David), Seinfeld is the master of observational comedy.

Along with The Simpsons and The Larry Sanders Show, Seinfeld forms the holy trinity of ‘90s television comedy that still influences as well as entertains today. He will tour Australia in August 2017, performing in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. He only performed in Sydney and Melbourne on his last Australian tour.

“Australia may be far in miles but I feel very close to the people because of our mutual comedy connection,” Seinfeld said in a press release. “I couldn’t be more excited about seeing everyone there again.”

Seinfeld’s acclaimed web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee shows the master of cracking fun at the mundane has lost none of his spark, as he rips jokes with comedy veterans, the new breed of stars and even presidents.

Performing in entertainment centres around the country, Jerry Seinfeld’s Australian tour of 2017 will be the comedy event of the year.
