Nominate for Adelaide Review Outsider Art Award, SALA 2015

“The Adelaide Review is honoured to present the inaugural Outsider Art Award to recognise exciting works created outside the boundaries of the established art scene.”

Nominations are open now – and closing soon – for the Adelaide Review Outsider Art Award and a host of other prizes in the 2015 South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival. Every year, The Adelaide Review provides $500 towards an outstanding artist or community presenting work in SALA. This year, we are excited to announce a relaunch of the Review‘s prize. “The Adelaide Review is honoured to present the inaugural Outsider Art Award to recognise exciting works created outside the boundaries of the established art scene,” says David Knight, Editor. The Adelaide Review‘s award sits alongside fantastic Artist Awards on offer through the festival. Our sister publication, Rip It Up, presents an annual award for the best young artist aged 18 to 30. Artists can self-nominate for all the SALA Artist Awards. Entries can be made through the SALA website, and must be submitted by Friday, May 29.
