Premium pop-up dining

The Ghan’s Queen Adelaide restaurant is the latest eatery to jump on board the pop-up food trend that is currently taking hold of our city.

The restaurant is the premium dining carriage for Platinum and Gold passengers aboard The Ghan. After decades of travelling up and down the country, the restaurant will be open to the public for the first time of Saturday, June 1. Diners will be treated to a two-course luncheon accompanied by matching wines. The unique dining experience goes back to the days of high class, luxury railway travel. On board the chefs will craft each dish using seasonal Australian produce from a variety of regions. To coincide with The Ghan Open Day, the Queen Adelaide will be stationed at the Keswick platform of the Adelaide Parklands Terminal. The Queen Adelaide Adelaide Parklands Terminal (Keswick) Saturday, June 1 Lunch sittings at 12.15am and 1.30pm $50 per person, book by phoning 8213 4575 or email carla.naismith@gsr.com.au
