Adele, who has sold more than two-million albums in Australasia, has one of the most powerful voices in popular music and has multiple Grammy Awards as well as an Oscar and Golden Globe in her impressive cabinet of achievements.
Adele burst onto the scene with her first album 19 in 2008 before cementing her superstar status with her second full-length 21 three years later that included the hits Someone Like You and Rolling in the Deep. In 2012 she recorded the most iconic James Bond theme in decades with Skyfall before releasing her third album 25 in 2015, which included the lead single Hello.
Adele will tour Australia in February and March 2017, playing 360-degree in-the-round stadium shows that are “designed to create intimacy” according to the press release. Concert tours will include featured reserved seating on the playing arenas and grandstands.
The tour includes a performance at Adelaide Oval on Monday, March 13, which will arguably be the new stadium’s biggest music event since The Rolling Stones’ 2014 stopover.
Adele tickets go on sale on Monday, November 21.
