Founding members Brian May, Roger Taylor and long running frontman, former American Idol star Adam Lambert, will perform six shows around the country throughout February 2020. The group will make their way to Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, February 26, almost exactly two years to the day after their last South Australian show in February 2018.
Announced on the back of blockbuster biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, Queen‘s public profile has rarely been higher in the last three decades. A stroke of back catalogue marketing genius rivalled only by Benny and Björn’s Mamma Mia, the film picked up a string of Oscars and Golden Globes while setting new box office records for its slick, historically questionable but very singable retelling of original frontman Freddie Mercury’s life.
Tickets for the tour will be on sale from 10.00am Adelaide time on Monday, April 15.
