Glen Hansard to play a one show at Her Majesty’s Theatre this October as part of his Didn’t He Ramble tour.
Award-winning musician and actor Glen Hansard will play with audience’s soul in his spellbinding tour across the country. On the second date of the Australian tour Hansard will play at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Best known for his song Falling Slowly Hansard has recorded music for the past 25 years. Whether with his band The Frames or solo, Hansard probes listeners with emotions they didn’t know they had. Born in Dublin, Hansard’s early passion for music began at 13 where he quit school and became a busker. Since then the musician has won eight Tony Awards and an Olivier Award for his work in Once, the musical. His band’s fourth album For The Birds also earned them international recognition. By 2003 the band reached platinum-selling success and emerged as a headlining act in their home country, Dublin. Bookings are now available via the Adelaide Festival Theatre website.
