Henry Rollins will bring his trademark rage, wit and crusade for social justice to Adelaide this Spring as part of a An Evening With Henry Rollins’ national tour.
The enigmatic former Black Flag frontman turned champion of global justice causes will perform in Adelaide Thursday, September 22 at the Thebarton Theatre. This one-night-only performance in Adelaide makes up part of a national tour of sideshows following his appearance at Sydney’s Festival of Dangerous Ideas at the beginning of September. An Evening With Henry Rollins will focus on the non-conformist punk musician’s travels across the globe, with each destination and story meticulously recorded through his photography. “For many years, I have documented my travels all over the world with a camera,” said Rollins in a release. “Many of the photos have a story, as you can imagine. Now and then, I gather several images, show them to an audience and tell those stories. It always ends up being a great evening.” Rollins’ speaking tours are frequently acclaimed by critics, with his juxtaposing fury and optimism at the world captivating audiences over the course of hours.
