Cold Chisel return to the town where they cut their teeth as part of an expansive run of summer tour dates. Jimmy Barnes, Don Walker, Ian Moss, Phil Small and drummer Charley Drayton (who has filled the position of the late Steve Prestwich since 2011), will be joined by fellow Adelaide expat Paul Kelly along with The Teskey Brothers, The Detonators and Tim Prestwich Band at Glenelg Beach.
“We’ve only done four tours since the early 80s so we need to make each of them count,” Barnes says of the tour. “We knew that if we were going to get the band back together for another full tour it would have to be something really special. We wanted great line-ups and unusual places so that people would remember these gigs for a long, long time.”
