As 2017 marks 10 years of the Hot 100 discovering SA’s most drinkable wines, this season’s launch event will bring back more than two-dozen of the top placing wineries and winemakers for tastings throughout the night. Expect to taste wines from 2016’s top 10 winners, including Mr Mick, Ochota Barrels and d’Arenberg among so many others (full list below).

While wine is certainly the centrepiece of the afternoon, we’re also celebrating some of the best in South Australian music, food and design. There will also be a rolling timetable of discussions set around a JamFactory installation, giving attendees the opportunity to come to the table and hear about the current wine landscape, the people at the centre of it, and its intersections with other parts South Australian life.
Live DJ sets from Messin’ Around (Troy J Been and Oisima) and Skin Contact will provide the tunes for the afternoon, while there will be a veritable smorgasboard of brilliant SA food purchasable from Comida, NOLA, Kris Lloyd and Levodo, Steven Ter Horst, smallgoods and bakery item tastings from the next generation of homegrown chefs at TAFE SA, plus non-alcoholic drinks from Cape Grim and Aquasano.
