The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market will host a great line up of guest speakers and demonstrators to compliment their range of fresh season food available every Saturday. Author Liz Harfull (Women of the Land, The Blue Ribbon Cookbook) will be speaking at the market on Saturday, July 6. She is has focussed on capturing the lives, experiences and history of rural Australians and their communities through her writing and photography. Market Manager, Genevieve Hebart said “Mount Pleasant Farmers Market Management Committee is thrilled to have Liz speaking at the market.” Every Saturday the market brings together the best of locally grown and produced food and has a focus on fresh, seasonal and quality produce. Most market days have between 30 and 35 different stallholders and attracts over 500 customers. The market is on every Saturday from 8am -12 noon at the Mount Pleasant Showground.
