In the week before France’s Bastille Day, Seppeltsfield Winery will host the inaugural Bonjour Barossa, bringing French foodies together for a day of indulging in the finest French cultural and culinary delights.
Mulots Macaroons will make for a sweet treat on the day
Guests will revel amid Seppeltfield’s Versaille-like grounds, with menus composed of the best pastries, delicious fresh breads from the boulangerie, charcuterie or cured and smoked meats along with beef bourguignon, oysters, cheese, crepes and ice-cream. On-site vendors Boulangerie 113, Mulots and Delicatessen Kitchen & Bar will be there for epicureans to discover as well as live cooking demonstrations from Adelaide’s renowned cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu. Seppeltsfield’s Event Chef, Owen Andrews will serve bourguignon and seafood bisque alongside the winery’s signature drops. Thirsty guests will also be comforted the luxurious Pol Roger Champagne Lounge, where they can let loose their inner Marie Antoinette. Adding to the atmosphere will be Parisian folk jazz band, The Baker Suite who is sure to honour ears with a suite of accordion-inspired sounds. Pleasure-seekers are also welcomed to explore the homeware, fashion and children’s vendors on offer with face painting, pétanque and Segway tours on offer.
The Baker Suite will set feet tapping and evoke the bohemian spirit of Montmartre.
