2016 Drink Dine Design Finalists Announced

Drink Dine Design ties the best of creative South Australia together: food, wine and innovative design, as designers are encouraged to create a product that enhances the experience of consuming food and wine.

The overall winner of the Drink Dine Design Emerging Designer Award will be awarded $3000, and a public vote will determine The Adelaide Review People’s Choice Award. Both winners will be announced as part of Hot 100 Wines in December 2016. 

This year’s finalists were determined by a select set of judges, including JamFactory CEO Brian Parkes, Genesin Studio Director Ryan Genesin, Associate Head of the School of Art Architecture and Design at UniSA Jane Lawrence, The Adelaide Review writer and designer Nathan James Crane and FINO Owner and Manager Sharon Romeo.

Previous winners include Angela Guiliani in 2014 for her Dressed to Digest lapel pins and Liam Mugavin in 2015 for his Hamra Chair.

The finalist pieces will be on display at Adelaide Airport from Saturday, October 1 until Sunday, November 6.
