The Milan Design Week review and talk series will be presented this Thursday, June 21 and deliver an in-depth look at inspirational content from Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week 2018. The talks will examine the highs and the lows of the enormous design fair and its satellite events as well as Milan’s culture and architecture.
Touted as “the closest thing to being in Milan, but without the blisters,” the event will be the first time South Australian audiences will be able to hear from Hughes and experience all of the trends and action from this year’s furniture fair.
Researched and presented by Yellowtrace founder, Dana Tomic Hughes, Milantrace will combine Hughes’ ability to source striking and inspiring content with Yellowtrace’s network of professional designers, all in a live event format, featuring original photography and specially produced video content.
The event is open to the public as well as industry members and will be an opportunity to engage with the wider design community and international design forecasts. Hosted at the Allan Scott Auditorium, UniSA City West Campus, the event ticket also includes a glass of wine by local producers Bird in Hand Winery and grazing platters before the talk begins.
