Local jewellery wizard Naomi Murrell has been working on an extended range for her self-titled label and will soon be opening her very own shop. Since successfully crowdfunding her start-up through Pozible, Murrell has been working hard behind the scenes to make her clothing a reality. So far, we have seen sneak peeks of sketches and colour swatches to tantalise the senses.

Further to her expanding range is a goal to establish a bricks and mortar presence in Adelaide. A resident of The Mill and partner with búl in a Rundle St pop-up store, Murrell has been around the traps for quite a while, but the flagship store (simply titled Naomi Murrell) is the next big step. The designer has secured a lease at 5 Ebenezer Place and will open in late November. As well has her jewellery and clothing line (manufactured with a small boutique supplier in Bali), Murrell will be stocking local ethical-wear brand Vege Threads. Murrell’s shop will launch in synch with her new Chase The Sun collection of clothes and jewellery, a preview of which can be seen below. naomimurrell.com
