The promotion of nature play finds a perfectly compatible partner in the reimagined experience of zoos. Natures Playground provides an inclusive and engaging experience for all users, prompting understanding of the natural world themed around the concept of the planets biomes.
Central to the experience is the opportunity for the child to expand their awareness through tactile sensory feedback in a challenging and sophisticated play space. Informed by extensive community engagement the design complements the educational programs of the zoo.
Facilitated by WAX Design the engagement led to opportunities for the incorporation of additional supporting facilities to ensure the successful accommodation of children of all abilities to participate in this highly successful attraction for the zoo.
